Liu and the panel will discuss the economic and demographic factors that affect inclusive economic growth, how to integrate workforce into broader economic development efforts, and what practitioners can do today to prepare for the future.

Financial Health & Wellness

Professor Greg Fairchild will share insights on working with a formerly incarcerated (re-entry) population & the importance of adult education and skills training as a means to achieving economic opportunity. Panelists will discuss the role of financial products and tools in individual success, the importance of financial stability versus financial resiliency, and how the FOC network can help high-need populations while sustaining progress over time.

In this interactive session, led by Emory Nelms of Common Cents Lab, we will learn core behavioral science strategies and how to apply those strategies to our work. Activities in this session will be focused on client engagement post-job placement.
